1. Smart View ribbon > Panel > Private connections > enter the URL from your admin.
2. Select the application/cube > Ad hoc analysis.
3. A default grid appears. Click Refresh.
4. Options > Data options: suppress missing rows; Member options: show alias.
5. Save the workbook; reopen and refresh to see it reconnect.
