UNICHAR returns a character from its Unicode number — arrows, ticks, the rupee sign — without hunting through Insert › Symbol.

Syntax

=UNICHAR(number)

Example 2

=UNICHAR(8377)&TEXT(A2,"#,##0")

Prefix the ₹ sign.
