UNICODE returns the code point of the first character. Unlike CODE it is correct for Hindi, emoji and symbols.

Syntax

=UNICODE(text)
Argument What it means
text Only the first character is used.

Examples

Example 1

=UNICODE("₹")

Returns 8377.
