Flow 1: save invoice attachments to OneDrive

  1. make.powerautomate.com > Create > Automated cloud flow.
  2. Trigger: When a new email arrives (V3), Include Attachments: Yes, Only with Attachments: Yes, Subject Filter: invoice.
  3. Action: Apply to each Attachments > Create file (OneDrive for Business), folder /Invoices, File name: formatDateTime(utcNow(),'yyyy-MM-dd') plus the attachment name, File content: attachment content.

Flow 2: Teams alert for VIP mail

Trigger with From = your manager or top client > Post message in a chat to yourself. You see it even in a meeting.

Flow 3: log orders to Excel

Trigger on subject “PO” > Add a row into a table in an Excel file on OneDrive: date, sender, subject. A live order log without copying.

💡 Start from templates (search “save attachments” in Power Automate) and adjust. Check the flow’s run history the first few days.

Practice

Build Flow 1 with a test mail containing “invoice” and an attachment, and check OneDrive.
