MROUND rounds to the nearest multiple you choose — prices to ₹5, times to 15 minutes.

Syntax

=MROUND(number, multiple)
Argument What it means
multiple E.g. 5, 0.05, or “0:15” for 15 minutes.

Examples

Example 1

=MROUND(B2, 5)

₹123 → ₹125.

Example 2

=MROUND(A2, "0:15")

Round a time to the nearest quarter hour.
