RANK.EQ returns the position of a number in a list. Ties share the same rank.
Syntax
=RANK.EQ(number, ref, [order])

What it means |
order |
0 or omitted = largest is 1; 1 = smallest is 1. |
Examples
Example 1
=RANK.EQ(E2, $E$2:$E$50)
Sales rank, 1 = highest.
Example 2
=RANK.EQ(E2, $E$2:$E$50) + COUNTIF($E$2:E2, E2) - 1
Unique ranks even with ties.
