SHEETS counts sheets in a reference or the whole workbook — including hidden ones.

Syntax

=SHEETS([reference])
Argument What it means
reference Optional 3D reference like Jan:Dec!A1.

Examples

Example 1

=SHEETS(Jan:Dec!A1)

Returns 12 if all month sheets exist between Jan and Dec.
