A normal screenshot captures only what fits on the screen. For a full web page, a long report or a chat thread, use a scrolling capture.

Windows: Microsoft Edge

  1. Open the page in Edge.
  2. Press Ctrl+Shift+S (Web capture).
  3. Choose Capture full page.
  4. Draw or highlight if you like, then copy or save.

Windows: Chrome (no extension)

  1. Press F12 to open developer tools, then Ctrl+Shift+P.
  2. Type screenshot and choose Capture full size screenshot.
  3. A PNG of the entire page downloads.

Windows: any app

The built-in Snipping Tool doesn’t scroll. For long documents in other apps, print to PDF instead (Ctrl+P → Microsoft Print to PDF) — it keeps text searchable, which an image does not.

Android

  1. Take a normal screenshot (Power + Volume down).
  2. Tap Capture more or Scroll capture in the preview (the name varies by phone maker).
  3. Drag the bottom edge to choose how far down to include, then save.
⚠️ Before sharing a long capture of a chat or statement, check the whole image for phone numbers, account numbers and OTPs further down the page.
