WRAPCOLS takes a long list and wraps it into columns of a fixed height — printable labels, seating plans.

Syntax

=WRAPCOLS(vector, wrap_count, [pad_with])
Argument What it means
wrap_count Items per column.
pad_with Filler for the last column, e.g. “”.

Examples

Example 1

=WRAPCOLS(A2:A61, 20, "")

60 names in three columns of 20.
